Tea Party...

I am a bridesmaid in a wedding May 2. The bride Becca had a Tea Party for all the girls in the wedding and some more special friends. It was at a Bed and Breakfast in Fuquay. The Chateau Belle Vie. This was a beautifull house back off the road a little ways. The inside was to die for. The gardens were pretty. There were some flowers blooming. But I can imagine in a few weeks what it will look like with all the flowers in full bloom. I am not too picky of an eater. I have gone vegetarian over the last year. I rarely eat any chicken anymore. I think I had a few bites at Christmas. Anyway...they had some weird food there. Fish dip on crackers..eggplant dip with Lots of onions.....Chicken salad like I had never seen. I liked the grits but it was not called grits something this country girl had never heard of. They serve it with sour cream, I really liked that. My friend Judy sat next to me and she said Are we going to get Cheeseburgers when we leave here???? I just laughed. She has been to all kinds of fancy partys....she was big in the Miss America Pagents and has won several big awards for selling Creative Memories. Judy did'nt even like the food. The dessert was good. It was Creme Brulle with home made whipped cream and fruit and we had some kind of cake.I dont know the name. Ohhhh the tea was good...Rasberry Tea and Pink Lemonade. My point is why waste all that money for fru fru food???? I know several girls getting married...please have some neurtral food. This stuff was not good. I was Starving when I left. Our bosses took us to the Lion King and we had food that was similar to this and it was better than yesterdays and believe me thats Not By Much!!!!!!!
Ok The place was beautifull. I took lots of pictures. So that part was alot of fun. Oh and Becca told me her future hubby's divorce from his last wife was'nt final. Soo they better get on it or they won't be able to get married. Its always something...........
