Foster....

I have been wanting to blog about this all week and just could'nt do it. I guess I was too upset about it. My boss Dr. K went sking this past week. He has a black lab he has had for 12 years or more. Well he gets a call from his vet saying Foster is'nt doing well and he needs to fly home now. I can only imagine what he was thinking knowing as soon as he got off the plane he was going to have to put his beloved pet to sleep. That just has to be awefull. Dr.k got in at midnight and went to the vets to see Foster. He was going to spend the night their and put Foster to sleep the next morning but Foster got worse and was in alot of pain.....so they took him outside and put him to sleep under the stars. That had to have been horrible. I know at work we were all tore up. We would get sad just thinking about it. When I went home that day I LOVED on all my animals. They are just such a big part of your life. They Love You no matter what. Are always there to greet you when you get home. They are never too tired to show you love and affection. All my pets are inside. I think that makes a big difference..you see them all the time..they sleep with you...eat with you. I hope I don't have to put my babies to sleep for years and years.....Sooo Love on all your critters cause we never know what may happen tomorrow....
